How to profile the Qt projet (code) for ARM Linux

I need to profile my qt project which is built for ARM Linux..
I tried using arm-linux-gprof i failed in that.. how to use this arm-linux-gprof to do profiling please tell and if any other profiling tool for ARM-Linux & how to use that..

have you tried valgrind? I have found it to be extremely helpful. Check it out at http://valgrind.org/.
