    Default building for symbian device error: No rule to make target `MAKEFILE_0XE587C205.MK'

    i created the simple batteryIndicator sample project. and I can easily build it for Qt simulator, but when I want to build for symbian device, it occurs an error:
    error: No rule to make target `MAKEFILE_0XE587C205.MK'. Stop.
    please help

    Have you tried qmake before building?

    hi jano

    i too faced tyhe same problem...but i recovered from problem by once again cleaning the project and building it...also check your project folder.u might be missing the .mk file

    I found that! it was because project folder was not in the same drive that Qt exists!!! :O
    it's a little not logical, but it works when i moved the project to Qt disk drive :-s
