    Default Qt 4.7.1 on Windows7 (64Bit)

    Hi,

    I have installed window7 + vs2008 + qt 4.7.1. After installing

    1) I ran the vs2008 x64 Croos Tools Command prompt
    2) went to c:\qt\4.7.1
    3) typed "configure" on the command line and got the following error after a while -

    Creating makefiles in src...
    Generating Visual Studio project files...
    execute: Unknown error
    (-nodepend)
    (-tp)
    (vc)
    (-r)
    (C:/Qt/4.7.1/projects.pro)
    (-o)
    (C:/Qt/4.7.1)
    Qmake failed, return code -1

    Generating Makefiles...
    execute: Unknown error
    (-r)
    (C:/Qt/4.7.1/projects.pro)
    (-o)
    (C:/Qt/4.7.1)
    Qmake failed, return code -1

I am trying to compile Qt on a 64Bit machine. Can somebody please help with this error? Am I doing the right thing?

    Thanks,
    Caius

Maybe you forgot the step to set the PATH variable.
