first of all excuse me about my english !

hi guys. my friend tell me to make an application for his phone. after i did some researchs on the internet i noticed that it is recommanded to install the "nokia qt sdk "! so this is what i did .the problem now is that my app is working perfectly in the simulator mode and also the desktop mode but when i try to change it to symbian it turns into a red X instead of a green tick (as i saw somewhere) and when i click on the run button it gives the following error : error: [ABLD.BAT] Error 9
all i want now is a way to make .sis (or .sisx) that can be installed on any phone (mainly my friend's one "nokia e66 3rd edition..."). i want to make it , assuming that me (the developper ) i don't have a phone : could this be possible without it.

ps : before installing (carbide c++ and activeperl and symbian sdk S60 3rd edition) the error was some thing like gcce-error 2 . now something called "qt symbian opensource s60" is downloading but i don't think that this stuff will make differences
