Default Statusbar entry for my Qt application is not showing for some reason.

    Hi Everyone,
I am writing a Qt application which is working absolutely fine except the statusbar entry. I want a status bar entry for my application but it is showing something like the following screen grab. I am using windows 7.

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Chandan

So, how do you create the status bar?

I am not crating any status bar. Like other Qt application I want a status bar entry in my windows of my Qt application. As far as I know when I show my main window it usually appears on the windows status bar. But for some reason I am not getting any status bar entry for my application. Any thought please and sorry for the ambiguous information provided.
