Art -- What do you do?

How do you make your apps look really good? Are there good artists who do software logos/SVG art, etc?

If you are serious, which means, if you have the cash to pay for it, I can hook you up with my sister's company. She's a professional graphics artist. But this isn't free (prices are beyond what an amateur programmer can pay).

Other than that:
1. I usually use free icons. There are a couple around, check the KDE and GNOME projects.
2. Find someone who can make nice graphics and wants to work for free on your program. This usually is someone who likes and uses your program. This also means you need to actively search for such a person as they don't come to you.
