Did you per chance put the main widget twice in the form? Maybe one in a layout and one not?

Anyway, the information you gave is absolutely not sufficient to give a good answer.
Please provide at least the code and a minimal (the least amount of code) and compilable (it needs to build and run) example demonstrating the problem.
