QExtSerialPort - need for reconnect when changing port or other settings?

Hi everyone,

I'm using QExtSerialPort and was wondering if i need to disconnect and open again when I for example switch the port, or is there no need to do this?

I would think that one has to close the current port and open another, but why don't you just try it
