    Default Software activation

    Hi guys,

I'm developing an industry-grade cross-platform (Windows, Mac OS, Linux) graphics application based on Qt. I am looking for options such as software activation for protecting our application from illegal copying. Does anyone have any suggestions on how we could protect our software? The solution needs to be easily portable across the three platforms and not TOO much of a hassle to our customers. I've found a lot of Windows-only solutions, but we really need something that will work across all three platforms.

    Any suggestions are welcome.

    Thanks in advance!

    Robert

Macrovision (http://www.macrovision.com/) has a popular solution used by Rhapsody and others.

    Thanks Johan!

I'll definitely check out Macrovision. I guess there really aren't that many solutions to this problem. But they look good.
