Default Do you like now Qt being more QML centric?

Now Nokia is pushing Qt to become more and more QML centric a lot of old (and IMHO) good APIs will be deprecated. And at times the new APIs may not be even more powerful. e.g. see this: http://labs.qt.nokia.com/2011/05/30/...-1-1-released/

What do you think about this?

Not sure why you posted a link to a QtWebKit release announcement. From what I read there, QtWebKit has little or nothing to do with QML. QML isn't even mentioned in the release notes, and it also says that QtWebKit 2.1 is independent of any Qt release and is targeted at mobile platforms only.

Prior to QML, we made lot of stunning looking apps with Qt on small screen devices including mobile phones. We even made a custom qtopia device with loads of animated home screens. May be its my shortcoming but i find it more difficult to work with javascript+C++.
