    Default Designer or QtQuick?

    Hi
I've been using Designer and getting to love it.

I've just read up on the future direction of Qt and my understanding is that Designer will be supported but not extended whilst QtQuick will effectively take over in time.

Does that mean there will be a QtQuick RAD tool similar to Designer that creates interfaces with QML code?

    Cheers
    Jeff

There already is such a tool as part of Qt Creator. Will there be a standalone tool like that, I don't know.

Open a QML file in Creator and enter "Design" mode.

    Thanks Wysota

    That looks great.
Out of interest, will you move across completely to Qt Quick Designer or continue to use Qt Designer?
If both, under what circumstances for each?

    Thanks again

Qt Quick Designer is of no use to me as I'm working with regular widgets. If Qt5 abandons the widget path then it is likely I'll stick with Qt4 in my work.
