Default How to enable _CRT_SECURE_NO_WARNINGS to avoid ms warnings?

I have "#define _CRT_SECURE_NO_WARNINGS" at the top of my header file, but it seems to be unusefull, I keep on viewing warnings.
    What I'm doing bad ?
    Thanks

The best solution is to put it in project preprocessor defines.
