Default How to intall both qt open source and coin3d

Hi, i have trouble installing qt and coin3d so that I can work on the application of both. I understand that qt for oss doesnt support msvc compilers. I've been refering to many pages with so custom styles of installation, but so far, the installation won't go.

I tried to follow installation instruction here:

    http://www.coin3d.org/pipermail/coin...er/007252.html

but i don't really understand, and have lots of errors when building. For one, I tried to do everything install msvc2005, psdk, and tried to build qt and coin, but they both failed with cygwin.

Is there a workaround on this? Or other alternatives? I'm really interested to see what I can do with coin3d and qt open source.

    Thanks in advance!

What errors do you get? Could you be more specific. What steps of the tutorial is causing you the most problems?
