    Angry Deployment in Linux

    Ok Question is pretty simple. HAS ANYONE EVER DEPLOYED A Qt APP ON LINUX?
    I have days reading the forums still i have nothing happening!
    its easy on Windows bt how do we do it on Linux!

    Help me pls!

    Qt installed and run the application. What is your problem?

    You simply change the compile type to release in qt creator. after that it depends if your are building statically or going for dynamic library. Dynamic linking is better if you want the application to auto update.

    I curious as TS in this case (Linux deployment). Any complete tutorial including screenshots? Can we simply deploy out Qt app into DEB/RPM? Any GUI tool for doing that? Or just use normal packaging guide in the distro? Thank you.

    I don't think any application has ever installed itself by reading a forum. Usually you have to download the code and deploy it properly
