Problem with drag and drop of widgets

Hi,

I'm new to Qt. I am unable to drag and drop any widgets from the widget tool box.

close the list menu located on the left side by clicking the above cross sign. Then drag n drop. Later click Edit on the left side to switch to list source code.

Thanks for your suggestion.
I have done as u suggested but still facing the same problem...and am getting the broken layout symbol at right side in the object name as in the above screen shot.

I guess you are referring to my signature. I asked you whether the problem is with dragging or with dropping.

Does it happen only with this single ui file or is it a general issue?
