QT 4.2.2 Commercial on Suse 10

I am attempting to install QT 4.2.2 on a Suse Linux 10 machine. There is already a working installation of QT 4.1.1 on this system. I get an error when I run configure. Here is how I'm calling configure:

./configure -I/usr/include/mysql -L/usr/lib/mysql -qt-sql-mysql
-I/usr/local/pgsql/include -L/usr/local/pgsql/lib -qt-sql-pgsql -qt-gif -qt-libjpeg -qt-libpng -qt-zlib

After a few entries, I get the following error:

I then get a bunch of lines that look like this:

I then tried deleting the src tree and reunpacking. I then ran just ./configure and got the same output.

I do not have a QTDIR set, nor do I have the old QT installation in my path nor my LD_LIBRARY_PATH:

Does it start compiling qmake when you get those errors or before that or after that (after running "make")?

My qconfig.cpp looks different:

At your suggestion, I checked the contents of the qconfig.cpp file. There was a control-M after my name in the licensee line. So I checked the $HOME/.qt-license file. It looks fine. Here are the contents:

I deleted the qt source tree and unpacked it again. I made sure there was no qconfig.cpp file in the tree. I re-ran configure. When the configure program was asking me about accepting the license, I rechecked my $HOME for the license file. I found a new copy of the file called $HOME/.qt-license-temp. It's contents looked like this:

As you can see, the first character on each line has been replaced with a quotation mark. I don't know if this normal or not, but it looks suspicious to the casual observer.

I let configure fail as before. Then I removed the control-M from the end of my name in the qconfig.cpp file. The configure program then ran normally. As I write this email, gmake is running.

I have submitted this a bug at the Trolltech Website.
