    Question Qt dlls versus Qt creator dlls;

    Hello;

    I have downloaded the Qt package from http://download.qt-project.org/offic...0-4-online.exe.

    Apparently everything is extracted into C:\Qt\Qt5.3.0

    Where does this installer installs the qt libraries dlls?

    Are they these dlls the same used by Qt Creator?

    Under C:\Qt\Qt5.3.0\compiler\bin I assume

    No. The Qt creator binary that is shipped in that bundle uses its own, private set of Qt libraries. You can see that on the Creator About dialog.
    Yes. If you build Creator from source against this version of Qt.
