Qt is quite popular in a wide range of industries.

In general, being a Qt developer means you are a C++ developer, which is popular in an even wider range.

    Cheers,

I can add that from my experience people learn good c++ habits from learning Qt so you can always treat Qt as a tool to improve your object oriented programming skills. You can also transfer good architectural solutions from Qt to the ecosystem you are using in your non-Qt work.
Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile.
