Layout Expanding Font Size

Per the Documentation "Layout Management Introduction:"

Automatic updates when contents change:
Font size, text or other contents of child widgets.

I can make widgets expand horizontally and vertically, yet I cannot manage to make the widget's font size expand and shrink proportionally.
Am I misreading the documentation?

I believe what the doc is referencing is that if you change the font size, the layout will automatically update, not the other way around.
