    Job Description

    -Operating across organisational and technology "silos" to drive common approaches, exploit information assets and processes across the enterprise. Alignment of IT strategy and planning with company's business goals.
    -Engagement with key business stakeholders to ensure relationships are developed and maintained in conjunction with Business Relationship Managers (BRMs).
    -Promotion of shared capabilities and applications to reduce costs and improve business efficiency and information flows. Ensure that projects are aligned to business and IT strategies and do not duplicate functionality.
    -For strategic projects work with solutions architects to provide consensus-based enterprise solutions that are scalable, adaptable and adaptable to changing business needs.
    -Management of the risks associated with information and IT assets through appropriate standards and security policies.
    -Direct or indirect involvement in the development of policies, standards and guidelines that direct the selection, development, implementation and use of Information Technology within the enterprise.
    -Build team knowledge and skills in specific areas of expertise.
    -Contribute to the development of the overall IT strategy with responsibility for business unit and
    -corporate IT strategies.
    -Assist in the development, publishing and promotion architectural policies and standards
    -Track emerging technologies and identify and exploit IT Innovation
    -Ensure that the various views comprising an enterprise architecture are consistent and coherent, at an appropriate level of detail and that changes are controlled so as to maintain consistency.
    -Advise on and participate in the governance arrangements set up to ensure that the enterprise architecture delivers the desired benefits to JLR.
    -Understand and present the immediate/tactical and strategic benefits of adopting a consistent architectural approach within the context of the JLR business function to help the functional leads justify their investments.

    The Successful Applicant
    The candidate will have a proven track record in successfully using technology to enable a strategic business advantage for commercial benefit.
    The candidate will have exposure to TOGAF and/or Zachman methodologies and will have created road maps for previous business which has enhanced internally capability and efficiency.

    The client is looking for expertise in Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Advanced Manufacturing (ideally within a SAP environment) or Logistics & Supply Chain.
