Using compilers other than c or c++

Specifically, the "GO" language. How do I use it in QtCreator? What flags, libraries, and etc? I'm importing a project to play with where their sources are all in the "go" language (like we needed yet another one!.) I need to be able to single step through their code to fix the bugs and create more functions.
Eventually I hope to change it over to C/C++ and use QtCreator to get exact duplication of functionality to their original, if it is worth the (unknown) amount of effort.

As far as I know, Qt Creator is specifically designed for compiling C / C++ code and linking it to Qt libraries. I do not think there are any provisions for using a toolchain from a different language.

You should probably investigate Eclipse or a GO-specific IDE instead.

Actually I think there are even Qt bindings for Go.

I believe this really means "other C / C++ compilers" - so you can add cross-compile toolchains, for example, that aren't automatically picked up by Qt Creator during installation.
