    Default Paper recorder

    Hello,
for a real-time data acquisition application I would like to develop a plot that mimics the behaviour of a paper recorder -> i.e. the time history of the last n samples is shown, and every time a new sample is added the oldest is dropped.

Does anybody have any suggestions on how to start?

I understand it could be a trivial question, but I'm new to qwt and looking around the internet I couldn't find anything.

Thank you in advance for any reply.

    Cheers.

    Alberto
