How to change to App Icon name in the device?

Hi,

I had developed the application in the name MapLibraryV1.pro. The same "MapLibraryV1" is appears in the application icon in the device.
I want to show "MapLibrary" as the name under app icon in the device.
I tried .pro -> TARGET and it does not make an change.

What kind of device?

There is likely some meta data file that is installed along side the app.

Targeting the android/iphone devices.

Once the app is installed, open it and scroll down the list to find the app for which you want to change the name of the shortcut. Tap on the app name. Information about the app shortcut displays in the right pane. Tap the area that says “Tap to change label”. The “Rename shortcut” dialog box displays. Replace the current name with the name you want and tap “OK”. The new name displays at the top of the right pane.
