Thanks,
Does this mean I need to connect a signal from the thread to some slot in the gui?
For example within my thread I would have :
signals:
signals:
void scrolltable( QModelIndex index );
To copy to clipboard, switch view to plain text mode
This function would emit a signal, such as:
emit scrolltable( index );
QModelIndex index = treeModel->index( nCount, 0 );
emit scrolltable( index );
To copy to clipboard, switch view to plain text mode
And within my main gui thread, I would have a slot as :
public slots:
public slots:
void scrollthetable( QModelIndex index );
To copy to clipboard, switch view to plain text mode
Which would scroll the table.
How do I connect these signals, would it be something along the lines of ( this would be in main gui thread ) :
connect( tableThread,
SIGNAL(scrolltable
(QModelIndex)),
this,
connect( tableThread, SIGNAL(scrolltable(QModelIndex)), this,
SLOT(scrollthetable(QModelIndex)) );
To copy to clipboard, switch view to plain text mode
Thanks again,
Steve
