I wrote to trolltech regarding this,
They acknowledge that this is a bug and has filed in tasktracker.


now the work around as told by them is that

After you install Qt.
Open the Qt 4.3.0 console
unset the lib environment variable by "set lib= "
configure -debug_and_release
make
