It seems you are not interested
Anyway, take a look...
You could see Changelog...
- Line numbers and cursor position display fixed
- Did some code cleanup here and there
- Added some tr()'s
- etc.
thanks for all your bug reports! I'm gonna try to fix the highlighting and the cursor stuffs.
hobbits of the dark side are mad at me! I've got to leave!!! See you...

I'm happy you are Have you taken a look at my fixed version?Originally Posted by fullmetalcoder
First you should choose the name, so far you have two: "Bumblebee" and "DevQt".Originally Posted by Cesar
Have you registered your project on SourceForge or other similar site? It will be much easier for you to work using some revision control system (I would suggest Subversion).
Dear jacek, I'm not sure, whether this project will last for more than a month... If not, then there's no need to register it on Sf.net.Originally Posted by jacek
Nice! I'll be happy if a team could be created. I mean a real team where people share ideas, select the best ones think together about implementations...Originally Posted by Cesar
Actually there's no fixed name! There was a duscussion about that on the thread "Rich Text Tal Vol1" but no solution comes... Waiting for ideas!Originally Posted by Cesar
dear Cesar, why are you so pessimistic??? Even if I have to do everything on my own (except rebuilding Qt from scratch ), I'll keep developping DevQt (or wathever its name is coming to be!)!!!!
Current Qt projects : QCodeEdit, RotiDeCode
I am not... I'm realistic... Ok, here are some suggestions:Originally Posted by fullmetalcoder
- Let it remain DevQT
- As a project leader, you should maintain roadmap, commit patches, assign TODO's to coders
- Consider me joined the team
And please, don't hurry up registering it on sf.net

- DevQt? Yes Sir! at least until a really nice name comes...
- roadmap and so on... Once again, Yes Sir! They're coming soon (ASAP means holidays i.e. next WE)
- consider me as a happy guy!

I made it sticky just to make sure it doesn't get lost between other threads.Originally Posted by fullmetalcoder

would you mind explaining me where are the "cursor position mess" and "various memory leaks" fixes in the code you posted a few days ago? I did find the dialogs stuff but that's all.

Greeting to all the Qt community! I'm so sorry for being silent for so long -- I was busy due to the fact I'm changing my job
As far as I can see we do really need some project hosting!!! It's an emergency, now I realized that. Could someone explain me, has elcuco already registered it somewhere? If not, I suppose we should create a poll and let everybody express his opinion about what hosting to use, because it not only the DevQt developers to choose!
I have asked berlios for hosting a new project called "DevQT" or unix name "devqt". As soon as I hear from them, I will reply here with more details. FMC gave me green light, after all, I am working for himOriginally Posted by Cesar
So you are writing IDE for QuickTime?Originally Posted by elcuco
And you'll be writing it in Qt?! Great! What a coincidence! QT and Qt together!Originally Posted by jacek
You know, until this very moment I had never asked myself this: what on earth does Qt stand for? "Quick toolkit?" "Quit tk?" "Quality tacos?"
My philosophy is: If you can use a free, open-source alternative: do it. And if you can't, pretend it's free and open-source and hope you don't get caught.
