Calendar widget with selectionMode != SingleSelection

How can I make QCalendarWidget with an extended or contiguous selection? I want to have calendar like in Outlook - with opportunity to select weeks, periods and so on. But as far as I understand there is not standard way to do usint qt's calendar it
How other people solve the problem?
