exe permission denied

HI all.
i'm working in a c++ prmming in Qt. while compiling its giving that
C:\MinGW\bin\..\lib\gcc\mingw32\3.4.2\..\..\..\..\ mingw32\bin\ld.exe: cannot ope
n output file release\IED.exe: Permission denied
where IED is my class name.
can any body help me?

maybe you have opened the exe file or its write protected.
