    Default GIMP and GPL

If I put some pictures I made from GIMP (which is GPL) in a product, does that mean anyone can use my pictures for free? If I make some JPEGs derived from Inkscape (GPL) does that mean I have to distribute the .svg files to anyone who asks for them?

    Thanks for your help!

No. The GPL only belongs to the applications itself. It only come into play if you use program code and/or link against it.
