Desktop simulator does not launch successfully

I am relatively new to Qt but I have develop one mobile application successfully. However, now when I try to launch the desktop simulator, even for one of the examples provided with Qt ('animatedtiles'), I get the error message 'could not find make command: jam.exe in the build environment' (see screen-shot in the attachment). I also have a problem with Kaspersky anti-virus quarantining Qt for suspicious activity so I am running Qt with Kaspersky disabled. I do not know if the issues are related.
