Question Best choice for open source multiplatform GUI installer for Qt applications

    Hi all,

I have read a little over the installers for Qt applications: NSIS, WiX, InstallJammer, Installer framework from Qt Labs, etc. I need find a good open source multiplatform GUI installer that works in Linux and Windows. Is InstallJammer the best choice?

    Regards.

Define what you mean by "best choice" exactly.
Your biological and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile.

NSIS is not multiplatform. The tools can run on Linux, but you can only create Windows installers with them (helpful when doing cross-compilation of Windows programs on a Linux host using MinGW).
