Qt 4.4 with Ecplise: can't drag and drop widgets?

I installed the Qt 4.4 integration with Eclipse, and everything is working fine, but I can't drag and drop widgets from the Widget Box to the UI designer area. Whenever I try to drag and drop onto the main area, nothing is added to the project to indicate that the widget has been added, and it just plain doesn't get added. It's like the main area is locked, or something. Anyone else having this problem?

Hi, I know this thread is very old but I have exactly the same problem with a current set of Eclipse/Qt/...

Hi,
I've encountered exact the same problem and it looks like the problem is Virtualized Operating System (Using VMWare Player v4.0.1 build-528992 wit Ubuntu v12.04)
There is a similar bug entry in https://bugreports.qt-project.org/br...s:all-tabpanel

Entering "Unity" mode of "VMWare Player" works good as a workaround. Maybe there is a bug with VMWare Tools, however I've not uninstalled VMWare Tools to test it.
