Default Can QWebView be used to develope a full-blown web browser?

It seems that lots of extra works are needed to have a basic browser working such as dealing with https

There are a couple of browsers that do that, e.g. KDE's Konqueror (which is what I am using right now), Rekonq, etc.

    But QWebView is deprecated.

Not sure what you mean withn "dealing with https", QNetworkAccessManager, which QWebView uses, can use https.

    Cheers,
