Cant to set style options for QTabBar. It is possible for QTabWidget pages, but QTabBar has not changes. I know it is possible to subclass QTabWidget, and set palletes and brashes, for QTabBar, But is working simplier solution with CSS.

http://doc.trolltech.com/4.4/stylesh...ylable-widgets - is ok, just looks like is not working while exists '/**/' comments in css code.... Qt snapshot 4.5.0....
