    Question Qt Configuration Question (SQL)

    Which is better...

to build sql with Qt source
or to build sql plugins after Qt source is built?

When configuring Qt and you know later you want to build sql plugins is there any other switches you need to add with configure that will allow this?

I only ask because I have done everything I can find to get the QMYSQL and QOCI plugins built and for both I continue to get LNK errors.

I build Qt source with just "configure"

    Environment:

    Windows 7 x64
    MS Visual Studio 2008 w/ Add-in
    Qt 4.6.2 VS2008 w/ configure
    Experimented with both
    • Open Source version

    • Commercial version

Default Re: Qt Configuration Question (SQL)

    Nevermind.

You can create SQL plugins after building Qt source with just default "configure" build.
